Black Magic Power Lass 901 won grand champion cow-calf pair at the 2015 Minnesota State Fair Angus Show, Sept. 5 in Minneapolis, Minn. Black Magic Angus, Arlington, Minn., owns the February 2013 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303. A February 2015 heifer calf sired by Vin-Mar O'Reilly Factor completes the winning duo.

DaEsRo Power Lass 1174 M100 won reserve grand champion cow-calf pair at the 2015 Minnesota State Fair Angus Show, Sept. 5 in Minneapolis, Minn. Black Magic Angus, Arlington, Minn., owns the March 2011 daughter of Justamere406S Panamajack336U. A February 2015 heifer calf sired by EXAR Significant 1769B completes the winning pair.

JC Angus received the award for a pen of 3 heifers they consigned to the sale. 
Their consignments were: Lot 18 JC Queen Patti 36 is a 1/`4/2013 daughter of Connealy Final Product She sold to Glenn Johnson, Pipestone for $2600 Lot 19 JC Princess Maggie 37 is an 1/19/13 daughter of Chestnut PF Up Start 760.  She was sold to Glenn Johnson, Pipestone for $2600.  And lot 24 JC Princess Ellie 38 is a 2/19/13 daughter of SAV Iron Mountain 8066 She was purchased by Russell Mickleson, Isle, MN for $2200.
   
Breeders Choice Heifers
Nord Angus Farm, Wolverton, Minnesota, consigned the Breeders Choice Award winner for Heifers.  Lot 13, Nords Queen Mother is an April 14, 2013 daughter of OSU First Class 1164.  Makenna Ludwig, Richmond, Minnesota purchased the heifer for $5,000. 
   
Breeders Choice Award Bulls
Dandy Acres Final Product 20, Lot 12.  was selected as the Breeders Choice award for Bulls. The March 5, 2013 son of Connealy Final Product  was consigned by Dandy Acres Angus, Gregg Johnson, Pipestone.  The bull was purchased by Corey Hoseth, Mahmonan for $2,800.

Show Heifer of the Year
Luke Nord, Wolverton, MN recieved the Show Heifer of the Year Jacket Award for his Bred and Owned heifer.  Nords Blackcap 1277 is a November 10, 2012 daughter of Connealy Final Product. Not Pictured:  Caroline Mayer, Peterson, MN received the Show Steer of the Year Jacket Award.  Her steer, RTM Neil Z205, is a February 14, 2014 son of PVF ALL Payoff 8057.
